The Great Days Golf Partner Network days continued in style with a spectacular visit to Ross-on-Wye Golf Club, a new addition to the calendar that exceeded every expectation.
Set against a backdrop of lush countryside and rolling woodland, Ross-on-Wye delivered on every front: stunning scenery, a true golfing test, and a warm welcome for the latest gathering of our growing business community. With each Partner Network Day, the GDG experience continues to evolve, and this one raised the bar once again.
The day began with a powerful keynote talk from Steven Peters, whose moving and deeply inspiring story set the tone. Deployed to Helmand Province in 2009, Steven served during what would become the British Army’s bloodiest summer in over 50 years. His talk was a timely reminder that even the most brave and courageous people need help sometimes. Steven’s stories of resilience, courage and bravery were truly inspiring.
On the course, the action was as lively as ever. Party Corner returned with a new twist! Golfers were challenged to tackle the club’s iconic signature hole using antique wooden golf clubs in a throwback challenge that tested skill and sparked plenty of laughs. It was a nostalgic nod to the roots of the game.
There was also a special moment for our very own Captain Pirate, Mike Jones, who made a triumphant return to the course following injury. Mike sealed it with a victory on the day, and it was brilliant to see him back where he belongs, leading from the front and enjoying every minute.
With networking, competition, and community at the heart, the Ross-on-Wye Partner Network Day further strengthened the relationships that define Great Days Golf.
