Wales rugby international Dan Biggar has aligned with Great Days Golf as an Executive Partner, reacquainting himself with his former coach, GDG Director Sean Holley, to continue their long-standing association.
Daniel made the switch to Northampton Saints from hometown club, Ospreys, at the start of the 2018/19 campaign. He is still the top points-scorer in Pro14 history. Before arriving in Northampton, Biggar had risen through the ranks at the Swansea-based Ospreys – and was the youngest player to make 100 appearances there at the age of just 22 and still holds the record for points scored at the Region. Dan made his full international debut in the 2008 Autumn Internationals aged 19. He has gone on to make the Welsh No.10 shirt his own and is fast approaching the 100-cap mark for his country. In 2017 Biggar was named in the British and Irish Lions squad, making five appearances on the New Zealand tour.
Daniel takes his competitive nature from the rugby field onto the golf course and enjoys playing the many beautiful courses around the South Wales area with long-time friend and International rugby referee Ben Whitehouse when he’s home as well as many newfound golf venues in England including Woburn.
Dan will join GDG at their bespoke events organised at our established Partner and Associate Clubs and help to increase GDG’s brand awareness worldwide.
