Non-Executive Director

Mike has been playing golf for over 35 years and reached scratch back in his early days of playing but all that changed in 2015 when he was involved in a motorcycle accident which resulted in him losing his left leg.

Mike was still determined to play and keep golf as a major part of his life. He started playing disabled tournaments across Europe and just six months after his accident he quickly became successful winning tournaments around the world.

This exposure opened up a substantial portfolio of contacts in the golf and leisure  industry.

Mike has worked with many organisations since 2015, the DP world tour and Legends Tour to name just two, offering an inclusive insight into business and working relationships. He also gives motivational talks using his unique situation to give a new perspective and encourage people to achieve more in their professional and personal lives. Mike is leading our drive towards providing workshops and pathways for amputee children and young adults across Wales, as part of our Inclusion Plan.
